Movie Info

Inspired by a series of alien sightings that occurred in rural Utah in the 1950s, director Peter Semelka's sci-fi thriller follows a group of thrill-seeking teens as they set out to explore an abandoned mill on Halloween, and discover the true reason that the locale believe it to be haunted. Confronted with irrefutable proof that extraterrestrials exist, the frightened teens must fight for their lives against a force far beyond their comprehension.

Audience Reviews for Teen Alien

This movie is for kids. Those who like corney after school specials would like it as well. It was released in movie theaters as The Varrow Mission. There are a couple of scary parts for the very young set but nothing that will keep kiddies up at night. The opening is very long and tedius. I'm not sure what the director was thinking about giving the kids a lesson in making hootch gin, but it is not very interesting and goes on way too long. The kids are fun and some of them can actually act. Tony's girlfriend, the girl hanging on the shoulder of the leader of the bad guys, does a good job as does the little kid star. Most of the rest of the kids look like school play quality acting however.
