Movie Info

Running a brisk 51 minutes, Fighting Vigilantes is no better nor worse than any previous Lash LaRue western. Playing "himself" rather than his standard screen character of the Cheyenne Kid, LaRue joins a citizen's vigilante group in its battle against a crooked food distributor (George Cheseboro). In addition to his many other crimes, the villain has been peddling tainted meat to his unsuspecting patrons. But not to worry -- backed up by his saddle pal Fuzzy Q. Jones (Al St. John), Lash LaRue subdues the bad guy and his minions, who learn to tremble at the sound of the crack of Lash's bullwhip. Filmed as a PRC Picture, Fighting Vigilantes was ultimately distributed by PRC's successor Eagle-Lion.
