Audience Reviews for The Great Chef (Bukkyeong banjeom) (A Great Chinese Restaurant)

½

Well acted and directed drama about the trials and tribulations of running a restaurant. We get to know the guys running the Peking Restaurant and their idealistic views of Jajang sauce and not using artificial ingredients like their competitor. As they get things up and running learning the cooking and timing, the movie starts to pick up in the second half. A touch of dramatic storytelling (such as the father) the here and there adds some spice to the film and brings the crew closer together.
