Audience Reviews for The Morgue

The Morgue's somewhat promising premise devolves into typical tripe that you've probably seen before....

I thought it was better than most people give it credit for, but granted, it could have been improved upon. Not bad for a low budget flick

Well, this was cack. The worst thing is that it doesn't even realise how bad it is. The plot is squeezed from hundreds of films and it isn't mind blowing, it's the last refuge of a twat. The film looks cheap and it is cheap. The editing is a swirl of different coloured shit. It starts off with flashes of black and white and shots that don't seem to make any sense. The performances are mostly lazy as is the writing. When the main character finds a book titled "The Fourth Dimension" in the bin, it's hardly a subtle clue. Funny to think it starts with a quote from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, when this is as far away from Holmes' levels of detection, as you could possibly get. I laughed for a while. Then I got bored. Then I was slightly annoyed. A roller coaster journey then, but not the sort you want to go on.
