Movie Info

A man still haunted by the death of his high school girlfriend ten years prior comes into contact with a spirited young waitress who bears a striking resemblance to his dearly departed, only to become drawn into a perplexing supernatural love triangle. It's been a decade since Josh's high school girlfriend was killed in a tragic train-car accident, and he still hasn't gotten over the sudden and jarring loss. He's still living at home with his parents and working at the local pizza parlor, two facts that make his best friend Rusty more than a little concerned. Josh's life seems to have stalled out, until he meets a waitress who looks like his ex-girlfriend reincarnate. Now, as Josh begins to feel as if he's being pulled in two opposite directions, he begins to whether if it's the mysterious girl, or his old friend Rusty that's really looking out for him. Starring Tania Raymonde (Lost), Brenden Fehr (Roswell), and Chad Lindberg (The Fast and the Furious).

Audience Reviews for The Other Side of the Tracks

A terrible supernatural horror, PG-13 of course, with a crawling pace and absolutely no scares, frights, or anything original to offer at all. Piece of crap.

Also known as The Haunting of Amelia, The Other Side of the Tracks is one of the worst movies ever--do not watch! I wouldn't even call this a horror was more like a Lifetime movie with two or three slightly supernatural moments. As crappy as films can get, The Other Side of the Tracks makes Ghost Hunter-The Ritual look like Citizen Kane by comparison. This poster makes it look more like the film that it is, but the cover that I saw it released under made it look like a supernatural horror film. Either way, it is total crap.

** (out of four) A thoughtful and well meaning script is bogged down in lethargic storytelling. Nothing much really happens. Plus from the very first moments of the film you will know all the upcoming twists to the plot. Brendan Fehr plays a depressed young man in a small town who has never been able to recover fully from the deadly car accident on the train tracks ten years ago.
