Audience Reviews for The Pleasure Seekers
Adequate reworking of Three Coins in the Fountain with musical numbers courtesy of Ann-Margret by the same director. Colorful and slick but empty. Gene Tierney's last theatrical feature.
A revamp of "Three Coins in the Fountain" that sometimes I think I love more, depending on which I'm watching at the time.Ann Margaret is Uber Sexy & sings in a Bikini in a Quaint Oceanside Bistro in Madrid, surrounded by kids & town folk.Carol Lynley as the SEXetary, Maggie, never looked more beautiful than in this Film. Pamela Tiffin as the Wholesome,Virginal Susie ,who is the Girl you bring home to Mother ,but Mother Dear happens to be a Countess(?), who doesn't approve of her for her Playboy Son Emilio Lacaye(Tony Franciosa). There are Delicious Parties, Spectacular Scenery, the Girls have Wardrobes to Die For, & the Male & Female cast is Pure Eye & Arm candy.I watch this each & every time it's on TCM or AMC.I Adore this Movie
A mild reworking of Three Coins in the Fountain, switching locales from Rome to Madrid. Fair cast. Pamela Tiffin is quite fascinating and so beautiful. Good to see Gene Tierney. Some good music. The score is surprisingly good.
