Movie Info

An eccentric prince decides one day to give up all his wealth and position and live his own life. His idea of living his own life, though, is to take up residence in the city's sewers. His dutiful servant, who happens to be a thief, accompanies him. Appeals to his rich uncle to do something about it fall on deaf ears -- the uncle, who prefers the company of his Dalmatians to that of people, is as nutty as he is. ~ Brian Gusse, Rovi

Audience Reviews for The Rainbow Thief

Some might wonder if a film starring the stars of Lawrence of Arabia and Christopher Lee gives enough for Alejandro Jodorowsky to make it an Alejandro Jodorowsky movie. Put it this way: O'Toole's character does ventriliquism in a sewer with a dead dog. Also, Christopher Lee has a pack of dalmations and a flock of "Rainbow" girls. Go see it, if you can, it's way underrated (at least comparatively for those who've seen it which is few since it's only on VHS)
