Audience Reviews for The Vagabond

Charlie's first minor masterpiece is a heartfelt and beautiful short story that is as sincere as it is comedic.

Almost all of his work at Mutual is fantastic, and this one is exactly that. For me, specifically, it's great because of Chaplin playing the violin.

Somewhat humorous. I find that a lot of Chaplin's earlier films were too similar to each other, and thus became pretty generic. This one kind of reminded me of his later film The Circus (which is much better than this).
