Movie Info

Gwen Mayfield (Joan Fontaine) is the newly appointed headmistress of lovely Haddaby Academy. But not everything is scones and cream when Gwen finds a coven of witches is working overtime nearby. When a little boy becomes comatose and Gwen discovers a suspicious voodoo doll, she realizes she must undertake a witch hunt before the evil coven can destroy the town. Kay Walsh, Alec McCowen and Michele Dotrice co-star. Cyril Frankel directs.

Fun in a ridiculous way. Good production values and some over the top acting, especially Kay Walsh. The film where Joan's resemblance to sister Olivia de Havilland is the most pronounced.
