The timeline and weapon innacuracies paired with the mix and match dialog issues showed the writers did little to no research. As an action flick, it is almost ok if you ignore the lack of realism in fighting style and weapon capabilities. There were a few moments I liked but in the end, it had far less story and a weaker plot than Cutthroat Island. The actual Bluff battle was built up with not enough payoff. Set up is fairly simple -- Pirate and his crew land on an island looking for his lost gold and a feisty female killing machine standing in his way of getting it. Acting is excellent.
