Tarek A @tarekali 3d Priyanka Chopra has evolved in recent years. She is now a formidable action star, and her fighting skills and authenticity are magnificent. She still has deep acting capability, but she can now claim the title of one of the best female action stars. In some combat sequences I see the same frenetic madness as Bruce Willis in the original Die Hard. Bluff is such an authentic movie; it took me back immediately to Assassin’s Creed Black Flag and the immersive experience of living in that world of pirates at the edge of the old world and modern nation-state dominance. The story is simple and touching—a woman forged by circumstance, turned into a demon, trying to find redemption. But sadly the past never lets us go; it defines us, catches up with us, and consumes us eventually at the end, like a curse. See more Sahil A @RT91290892 6d Great acting, great story. Connor’s actions often don’t make sense for what he is trying to accomplish. Priyanka’s accent went in and out throughout the movie. You know where this movie will start and end, but they did not do a good job filling the middle. Many better choices out there. Typical streaming pickup by Prime touted as a new movie, so no talent required of the film makers. The only saving grace is the pretty face of the leading lady.
