Beautiful film! Wonderful chemistry between the two main characters and touching performances. So moving in its portrayal of the pain and loss experienced by ordinary people after the tragedy of 9/11 -- and how love can overcome that heartbreak and bring people together.
The Broken Ones takes you on a dynamic journey of recovery through its disfunctional characters and their unique life choices. Strong female performances by Constance Shulman, Cece King and Margaret Colon. Elyse Niblett directs an edgy film that captures the angst and self torture of the characters, while you cheer for their lives. The film exhibits a gritty New York, the heart and pain of 9-11 and a sound track of original music you don't want to miss.
