A fantastic, good old fashioned British comedy. A definite Sunday afternoon movie.

It's a cute little movie--Laughton of course is great, and Young has a nice chemistry with Margaret O'Brien (who was one of the best child actresses of her time).

LAUGHTON'S DELIGHTFUL PERFORMANCE STRONGLY INFLUENCED MY RATING ON THIS FILM. HE LIFTS THIS AVERAGE FILM, EVEN A BIT OF A SAPPY FILM, INTO AN ENJOYABLE MOVIE EXPERIENCE.
