For a B-movie, it's pretty well filmed, but the overly familiar setup that's reminiscent of countless 90's action films and odd writing – it seemed to be building towards some great revelation that never manifests, but instead ends rather abruptly and strangely – means that it's lacking when it comes to both the story and the characters involved. Of course, none of that will come as anything new to anyone who's seen Scott Adkins previous work and, usually, there's a bevy of fight scenes that show off his skill as a martial artist to compensate. Unfortunately, it's a bit weak on that front, too.
Great movie. Get thru the first 30 minutes and you are hooked Louis is a great actor. Surprised no studio picked him up for a gangster movie
Entertaining action from the best in the business at the moment.
Nowhere near as good as Avengement or Accident Man. An average movie worth watching only for the always brilliant Adkins.
I thought it was a very good watch and the pairing of both main characters was spot on.
Love this movie is was funny and had a lot of action
Great hand-to-hand combat scenes; the choreography is believable and the film technique puts you right in he action. The dialogue is genuine and every situation the main characters find themselves is ingenuously written. Unfortunately the full plot and it's conclusion felt rushed and cheap in terms of good dialogue, choreography, sequences and performances. The social message is expressed well and redeems the film in the end.
These main characters would make a great series. I'd like to watch them get into and out of some more enthralling situations for sure!
this movie was excellent, sorry if you only like remakes and reboots of comic books, this was a nice departure from typical Hollywood formula garbage, can't believe the Audience only gave it 48%
better than rotten CG garbage movie, realistic & human story. best ever movie of Scot Adkins'
Was enjoying the action scenes even if the acting was a bit dodgy. Then the weird ending happened and I was WTF just happened??
