There's perhaps just a tad too much British reserve running through this heavy drama but its compensated for by the strong work by Vivien Leigh in the lead.
good rom-dram remade in 2012
Maybe not good, but has got the potential of a developing film industry!!!
Moving story of a suicidal woman (Vivien Leigh) starved for attention by her free-spirited husband (Kenneth More) while her titled ex-husband (Emlyn Williams) comes to her aid and seeks to win her back. Well acted and well paced. Emlyn Williams, so often cast as the villain, is very sympathetic.
Very interesting film
this one was real cool. i even remember the first time i watched itr. i was just a kid.
Not the best of Vivien's movies... but she made the best out of it^^
Adore it, even though it took me a good year to find.
I do not like the blonde's husband!-awful actor...
Kenneth More is surprisingly good - very fun to watch, yet his character is truly awful in this play.
Vivien Leigh shines as always...
good old movie, !! good actors !!
