'The Dreadful' is worth watching for Harden’s perfidious performance alone. And whenever she’s not on-screen it’s worth the wait. Go to Full Review

This muddled medieval borefest drags down the talents of Sophie Turner and Kit Harington, but can be commended for one thing: truth in advertising. It’s dreadful to the max. Go to Full Review
Brandon Yu New York Times Feb 20
The Dreadful faintly tugs at one strand of an interesting idea in this deeply silly horror fable: the hard fact of hunger. Go to Full Review
Carla Hay Culture Mix 6d
Not only does the The Dreadful describe the low quality of this horror movie, but this flop also can't be saved by the two former Game of Thrones stars and the Oscar winner in the cast. The incoherent plot is about an evil spirit in medieval times. Go to Full Review

While the movie does its title justice by conveying a steady sense of dread, neither the slow-developing character drama or the dark mystery pays off in the way they need to. Go to Full Review

Plays a little as if we’re watching a live-action storybook. It’s faithful to the form, but not as lively, frightening or immersive as this subgenre can be. Go to Full Review

Al P @BoosterAp 4d Acting was good, accents were bad. And the ending... I wont spoil it but the graphics? And could have spent more time with whole angel/helmet thing abit more See more tm11999 M @tm11999 5d you really gotta pay attention to this one as the young brit girl is quite appealing in her youth, even though she's very easily led. the mgh is finally acting her age by taking on roles that fit her. the ending is kinda unsatisfying as the girl still holds the helmet and you're really not sure if she stays pure from the evil. you can watch this if only to like the pale, freckled fit UK island beauty. See more Richard Y @richyung Mar 2 A pointless dreaful bore! See more Sajo N @LoveJS Mar 1 The film is a feast for the eyes. Sophie and Kit are stunning, Marcia is mesmerizing See more Ja N @JanJoSa Mar 1 This movie combines everything I like, and it also has a great cast See more Tam D @Tam_dukett Feb 28 Perfect tile for the movies.
