The respective storylines have plenty of human drama, and the friendship between the women is a strong theme, but the promise of a look inside the pressure-cooker world of elite sport is only partly fulfilled. Go to Full Review

Jessica L @JessicaLawry 21h This film is a powerful story about determination, friendship and people connecting on a deep emotional level while facing high stakes. As an Australian film, it offers a compelling look at what perseverance looks like at a professional level. With a strong cast and sharp cinematography, it delivers both heart and intensity. See more Sean B @DonWombat20244 3d I loved the story of friendship and the hardships that come from doing professional sports and to get a glimpse of what the girls go through and other people go is tough am gald to see that come out I the movie well done really enjoyed it 👍 😀 See more Lydia P @Lydia12 Feb 14 My daughter put this on Netflix and I tagged along watching it. Within 10 minutes or so I was glued to the screen and by the ending I wanted a sequel. We both loved it and it felt great watching a film about girls with my own teenage girl. Thoroughly enjoyed it. See more Michelle L @Oldchick Feb 14 Didn't really know what to expect as Aussie films are sometimes hit and miss, but I really liked this one. It had a rawness about it that made it feel real and emotional. It was good to see a film lead by females, too. I think it got better as it went, so don't bow out early or you'll miss a really good watch. See more Ben P @Benparkernutrition Feb 9 Brilliant movie. Speak to so many different audiences and has a really important message See more Sam W @samskywalker Feb 8 I was talked into seeing it when I saw it was on the AACTA awards, and although it wasn’t my usual thing, I was shocked by the insight it gave and how good it was. My partner called me out on not watching more female led stuff and I probably shouldn’t have been shocked, as I always love sports films. It’s very Australian, heartfelt, and also felt good to support independent cinema. See more Read all reviews
