Within 10 minutes or so I was glued to the screen and by the ending I wanted a sequel. We both loved it and it felt great watching a film about girls with my own teenage girl. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a rawness about it that made it feel real and emotional. It was good to see a film lead by females, too. My partner called me out on not watching more female led stuff and I probably shouldn’t have been shocked, as I always love sports films.
