While the film moves at a slow but steady pace, it ultimately delivers a powerful, uplifting experience. The acting may be 'so-so' in spots, but it truly didn't matter because the message was so strong. I found it incredibly refreshing to watch a film that didn't rely on cursing or sex for shock value. The acting was somewhat robotic. The story? All over the map. It tried really hard to be profound and deep, but felt forced. The dream sequences were annoying. The garden scenes made me cringe as obvious faux flowers were stuck in the ground in a wood setting and used to attempt to make a 'beautiful garden'. Overall, don't waste your money and drive 45 minutes to a theater to see it. I'm not sure I could even recommend it when it's streaming. How is anyone giving it 5 stars?
