You have a great time but... Without Tarantino I don't know if Ritchie would exist as we know him. [Full review in Spanish]

The story bogs down in places and some of the supporting characters are not nearly as interesting as Mr. Ritchie thinks they are but the classic Ritchie flair is there and the parts that work really work quite well.

What could be more fun that a story involving blackmail, bribery, working class thugs who hate the upper class, complications, treachery, and a fight porn video? Not much is my answer.

'The Gentlemen' collects each and every one of the tics and mechanisms that projected his (Guy Ritchie) career, refined over time. [Full Review in Spanish]

Parts of The Gentlemen are fun and zippy, classic Ritchie hyper-kinetic hijinks and crime comedy. But a lot of The Gentlemen is gross, reductive, xenophobic, and racist as hell.

A return to form (and roots) for director Guy Ritchie. Funny, entertaining and boasting a winning cast. [Full review in Spanish]

'The Gentlemen' is smart, sophisticated tale of criminals.

A slick, fast-paced romp for die-hard Guy Ritchie fans...

Hugh Grant gives a great performance, Charlie Hunnam is dope, Matthew McConaughey, and Colin Farrell is probably my favorite character in the film.

It is perfectly functional Guy Ritchie movie, it is a reasonably entertaining Guy Ritchie movie, but I don't think it does anything particularly interesting.
February 7, 2020
Fun-ish, given Ritchie's sense of "fun" includes some genially anti-social elements that just kind of squat there being unpleasant.
February 6, 2020
Guy Ritchie's latest crime comedy is more of a battle of wits than full wham-bam-action, boasting fun performances by the ensemble cast, esp. Hugh Grant & Colin Farrell.
February 6, 2020
For all its energy and vulgarity, The Gentlemen is a slog, a tedious and unnecessarily unpleasant tour of ground that Ritchie's already covered.
February 5, 2020
Ritchie's problem is that he has about a pint of movie sloshing around in a gallon jug. All the sidebars and word-bandying among the all-male cast don't expand upon this story satisfactorily.
February 4, 2020
The movie's a mess, but it's an entertaining mess.
February 4, 2020
There's a flair and sure-handedness here that will please Ritchie's fans, even if it feels like he's preaching to the converted.
February 3, 2020
While the opening half of this film lacks some of the clever grit of Ritchie's earlier offerings, it slowly gets into the groove before going full-tilt with falling bodies, meaningful threats and classic gun play.
February 2, 2020
Guy Ritchie's "The Gentlemen" is about human predators out-thinking each other in hilarious ways. Which is generally what Guy Ritchie movies are about.

Telegraphing dialogue, Tarantino-speak tributes, and a third act plot logjam are tantamount to bringing ants to the picnic, but there's enough repellent on board so as not to bother or distract too much.
