Movie Info

Unfolding like an intricate puzzle, The Grail is a smart, comedic film that traces three interconnected stories of modern-day quests. Each plotline centers around the killing of a convenience store clerk and introduces us to: a politically-correct drug dealer and another who's an intellectual bully; a homophobic politico; a coke-snorting mom; a surveillance tape; a very large dog; a pair of black leather gloves; an itinerant crack addict; a female police detective; and a couple of young shut-in college grads with a fixation on the Grail herself, a beautiful Swedish blond who draws everyone's attention. -- © Five Figer Films

Critic Reviews for The Grail

All Critics (2)

  • Clever or crass, Volkan has created an interesting film. While not particularly entertaining, it is a shot in the arm compared to the typical A-to-B narratives to which we're accustomed.

    Sep 6, 2002 | Rating: 63/100
  • One of those cleverly interconnected stories that links three to five essentially unrelated tales that take place over a single day.
