      Movie Info

      Franz Josef is in command of Austria, and George V has just taken over England's throne. Both leaders are warned that an intervention is needed to avoid war, but neither pays much attention, and the royal families of Europe continue to feud. The lack of action from world leaders, as well as the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, leads to World War I, in which millions of soldiers are killed in battle. Real-life footage and narration are used to document the events of the period.
