During this war drama, set during the Korean conflict, three soldiers are attacked and must flee into the sea. They are rescued by a supply ship, along with the North Korean pilot of a downed plane. However, the soldiers butt heads when they are ordered to kill the pilot.

It tends to be a bit melodramatic, but it tackles a delicate and interesting subject. Very well acted, Kirk Douglas is fine as he usually is. Professionally made, good cinematography and score. The characters are deep and involving.
