Jul 15, 2020Uneven, disjointed, poorly plotted, poorly written, sloppily executed, whatever happens onscreen is merely an exercise in putting the butts in seats and that's it. Gable schmoozes through the film without outright snickering at it (and there might be acting cred for that small thing) and the ending is foregone at the opening credits. Only Jo Van Fleet's performance registers at all, and she does manage to bring the goods. Is the rest of the film even a Western? It says that it is but any location or scene change and it would still play the same. Regrettably.

Sep 05, 2010This is a boring movie I saw on TV, I didn't even watch it all since I was so bored with it, but if you like westerns and silly romance movies, maybe you'll enjoy it.
