After a violent storm causes their ship to founder, Frost Michaels (C. Thomas Howell) and Cole Stevens (Darren Dalton) find themselves on the shore of a strange island where dinosaurs coexist with humans. As they try not to become lunch for prehistoric carnivores, the pair also has to contend with the island's other residents -- namely, the crew of a Nazi U-boat who kidnapped Frost's girlfriend. And there's just one more thing: They have to figure out how to get back home.

You're not going to get stellar acting or brilliant writing, but for a fun 90 minutes with pizza and popcorn, you can do a lot worse.

The movie was watchable, and the dinosaurs were decent, but the ending was extremely unsatisfying. I'm left thinking "okay, and?" You never get to find out if anyone actually made it off the island, if they were sent back to their original time periods, etc.

For a Direct to DVD film, it's surprisingly boring, with not much action or cheesiness, until u get to the 3rd Act, and it becomes a cheesy entertaining romp.

Entertaining (when absolute nothing else is on the TV), with B-grade effects. I'd like to say the acting was stellar, but I shall remain quiet on that front.

It didn't explain itself for what was going on and why this was happening, sort of like in real life with what the people responsible for this were thinking! All in all terrible. I know it's meant to be terrible, but that's not what cinema is all about, a Z-movie fan object.

Synopsis
