Some decidedly down-market animation from Germany with a little light environmental messaging and a whole lotta "Finding Nemo" borrowing. Go to Full Review

Enjoyable feature that’s intermittently inspired and big-hearted, even getting semi-epic at times as the production manufactures a risky journey for the main characters and their hope to learn more about Earthly depths. Go to Full Review

Jim 6h Our 6 year old grandson wanted to leave halfway through the movie. It just wasn’t very engaging. We stayed and it got a bit better but I would not recommend it. See more Bill H @RT59114294 4h For a film funded by the "Excellent Movies for Kids" Initiative, it should be noted that in the tiny theatre where I watched it, there were approximately 25 children (capacity 35), and of them, two were engaged, 14 spent half the movie running up and down the aisles before their parents took them out during the third act, and the rest fell asleep, including the toddler sitting next to me. Tells you all you need to know. See more Faiz S @RT19049740 1d Message that you don't have to become someone else to make an impact. Sometimes finding your own song is enough... Maturity hits when you realise that the film isn't really about saving the ocean, it's about finding your own voice when everyone expects you to live up to a legacy. The movie teaches that courage isn't the absence of fear, it's acting despite it. The envoirmental message works because it feels natural to the story rather than a lecture. Darya being deaf yet incredibly capable is one of the most underrated character choices in the film. Some of the best moments happen when nothing dramatic is happening, the ocean itself becomes part of the storytelling. See more Christina M @MovieFanaticChristina 1d Saw this film with my kids and our friends who also have children. Two for one of getting to see an animated film but also something that teaches kids about not polluting our oceans. The story was simple with some sad themes but I think that is what resonated most with everyone in making sure we are active participants in protecting the environment. Would recommend this for families. Reducing vessel strikes is a big topic here right now with policies lessening their restrictions of speed limits. Hits a little too close to home. See more Joncarlos M. @killerwolf 2d How did you respect an an animal movie bro? That’s how they’re made and they don’t like the movies when you just get out of the freaking movie theater for an out loud you’ve got a fucking morons seriously you’re not gonna love animals doesn’t have an animal anymore. give them away to the animal shelter seriously went too far about animals being hate. This is so fucking stupid seriously if I see one more about this movie I am so done just like right now I’m done watching every single movie that I ever made because this is just pathetic of all your people hanging movies just watching your phones then head to the movie. There is no more you’re washing your time. Just wasting your money. Just ask me your money in the movie theaters just stop you crazy freaking people. Your people are all effing insane pathetic See more Monthofthemythys 2d I think this movie is creepy becuase of how the animation looks See more Read all reviews
