He was Forrest Gump with an IQ, a decent person who stood on the sidelines of practically every artistic renaissance this country experienced over [much] of the 20th century.

Audience Reviews for The Line King: The Al Hirschfeld Story

½

Interesting documentary about a fascinating artist. Good examples of his drawings, which are so simple. That is what makes them brilliant. Some of the interviews get a little tedious, but it is never boring.
