Movie Info

The Lone Rider crosses the Rio in The Lone Rider Crosses the Rio. Well, actually, a bit more than that happens in this PRC western. While visiting Mexico, the Lone Rider (George Houston) and his pal Fuzzy (Al St. John) befriend a pair of star-crossed lovers named Rosalie (Roquell Verria) and Torres (Thornton Edwards). It seems that the boy's pa objects to the fact that golden-hearted Rosalie is a cabaret singer. This plot element is shunted to the background when Torres is kidnapped by the mysterious El Puma (Charles King), whereupon the Lone Rider and Fuzzy are obliged to rescue the boy lest they be hanged for the snatching themselves.
