While Peter and Ashley share strong chemistry from the start, Peter's character is let down by Adam Wesley's flat, emotionless performance, particularly during key action scenes. Taylor Anne Danehower, as Ashley, delivers a standout performance with depth and conviction, ultimately carrying the film. The ending, centered around Jake as the villain and Ashley's sister's betrayal, aims for a twist but feels underdeveloped and unsatisfying. Cinematographer Garrett Stotko & director David St. Clair excel with camera work, editing, and visual storytelling. However, the sound design is inconsistent, with scenes like the storage locker undermined by oddly comedic background music.
