An intriguing cerebral psychological sci-fi yarn.
A unique blend of theology, biological fantasy and mind games
Very probably will be one of the best science fiction films of this decade. It really deserves to be seen.
It's that rare film that rewards inquisitiveness.
It is always interesting to see a science fiction film centered on constant dialogue, even if it never reaches the full potential of its fascinating idea and remains somewhat obvious, with also unlikable characters. Besides, the acting is not very good either.

I'd nothing else worthwhile to do, so I went for this flick. Generally, I don't like movies that include only conversations for most of its part. However, I found this one kinda unique & was interested in the conversations till the very end. It was quite offbeat, but I liked it reasonably well.
All the actors were new to me, but everyone played their part well (after all, there was not much scope for acting since majority of the movie comprised of conversations).
A man departing the company of his friends reveals something unexpected before going: "I'm 14,000 years old." The friends all just so happen to be professors at a university ... and yet none of them seriously delve into this wild claim. They all sit down and have a nice, calm talk about it and he's allowed to simply make the assertion. No hard questions, no, none at all, and the story gets even wilder from there. An interesting proposition let go.
