Movie Info

Douglas Fairbanks -- at his athletic best -- scales walls, shoots villains with, as one reviewer excitedly commented, "both hands at once," and made passionate love to Eileen Percy in this wild and woolly western comedy about a cattleman's associate agent who infiltrates a gang of rustlers. The story, of course, was nothing much, but Fairbanks delighted audiences with his elegant asides, his dapper way with a lady and his attitude of never taking himself too seriously. He found a good sparring partner in the blond and vivacious Percy, who starred opposite Fairbanks in three other 1917 releases: Wild and Woolly, Down to Earth, and Reaching for the Moon.
