Movie Info

In the documentary program Classic Artists: The Moody Blues, the members of the influential '60s art rock band The Moody Blues (Justin Hayward, John Lodge, Graeme Edge, Ray Thomas, and Mike Pinder) recount the tale of their dramatic rise to the top of the charts, and the multitude of experiences that followed. The program and interviews follow the band from their early days as an R&B-based act in Birmingham, England, and their breakthrough international hit "Go Now," through their evolution into a psychedelic band and their second round of succes with "Nights In White Satin", the album Days Of Future Passed, and the world tours and six hit albums that followed; their break-up in the early 1970s and their reforming at the end of the decade; and the 30 years of success that followed, through the single "Your Wildest Dreams" in the mid-1980s, up through the first decade of the twenty-first century as a top arena act. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
