Roger Moore is impressive in this late career thriller sand-witched between his last two Bond films Octopussy and A View To A Kill. He plays a psychiatrist who is treated with suspicion after one of his patients is murdered. Not a movie without cliches but it is Moore's charged exchanges with Rod Steiger's detective that impress and add some dramatic weight to proceedings.

While it isn't the sharpest, most suspenseful movie around this world, it did manage to keep me thrilled from start to finish. Roger Moore gives one of his better performances from his post-For Your Eyes Only era, as he somewhat brings the character to life. And surprise performances by Rod Steiger and Elliot Gould do not disappoint, at best. It doesn't lie about the surprise twists, but I won't spoil it for you, now, will I?

Based on a novel by Sidney Sheldon, Roger Moore plays a psychoanalyst caught in a web of intrigue and murder after his patients begins turning up gruesomely dead which prompts Moore to look into the killings before he himself becomes the next victim. <a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=2zgi4ns" target="_blank"><img src="http://i51.tinypic.com/2zgi4ns.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a> <a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=qrzsz4" target="_blank"><img src="http://i56.tinypic.com/qrzsz4.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a> <a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=2sal8cl" target="_blank"><img src="http://i56.tinypic.com/2sal8cl.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>
