It's not even a movie it's fucken crap
Dominique Rocher explores the zombie genre with a refreshing entry that surprisingly has some depth that provides for a very good character study. The Night Eats the World doesn't waste its time explaining what everyone already knows and goes straight to the point with a formula that really works. Using a free-of-jump-scares, tense and always unpredictable plot accompanied by a solid performance from Anders Danielsen Lie, and an extra layer of disturbance by the zombies not making any noise -which is a great new factor- is how this film really frightens. Dominique crafts a new and interesting zombie movie that stands on its own and perfectly balances its themes to create a very grounded atmosphere built from survival, existentialism, loneliness, and threatening and scary situations.
Too difficult to even like the character, got bored of the lack of events and character personality was hard to relate to.
Entretenida, aunque no aporta demasiado al genero
This movie was awesome! The makeup was very well done, and it feels pretty quiet and tense at all times. Not sure why people are hating. Movie Was great!
I really liked this film. It focuses on character and atmosphere, and the psychological impact of a zombie apocalypse. It gives a more realistic view of what the end of the world would be like than the average zombie film. This film is a slow-burner. Well worth a watch.
A Noite Devorou o Mundo (2018) #MovieReview 3,0 â?ï¸?
Its a real snooze fest. Not much action. Guy decent job acting, but not much to movie other than him moping around and occasionally doing something stupid like playing drums to rile up the undead. Pass on this one.
I just finished the movie. I found the subdued and silent take on the zombie apocalypse quite refreshing. I was never bored with the actions or the cinematography. Using the spin of Sam's own psychosis as a conflict was a brilliant idea, in my opinion.
