It's got an odd, atmospheric cheesy charm to it.

Audience Reviews for The Night of the Werewolf

Slowly making my way further into Paul Naschy's filmography, this was the first of his werewolf films I've happened to track down. It features vampire women, disturbed graves, hell, I think there's even a mummy in there somewhere, it goes all out in the attempt to build a nice Gothic atmosphere and succeeds rather well. Worth a look for fans of older horror.

Why do I do it to myself? The best part was the beginning and they way the vampires walked, more like floated, that was cool. Other than that it's just another crappy horror flick.

This is about the best modern Day Werewolf Movie I have seen. Highlighted as Spanish Horror in Fangora Mag. Stars Paul Naschy who has been staring as a werewolf for years and is the best at it. My suggestion is use spanish audio with english subtitles, for some reason when foregin films are made with English audio it tries to turn the Movie into a comedy or misses the mark so go with the subtitles.
