While some might expect a more forceful approach to genre, the film manages to be hypnotic, elegant, and precise. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

'The Shrinking Man' may not be incredible, but it arrives without inhibitions, unafraid that the role might be too big for it. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

C B @RT03025588 Mar 5 Starring Jean Dujardin - the Oscar winning actor from "The Artist" (2011). {SPOILERS] I do not know how closely it follows Richard's Matheson's novel because I've never read it, so can only compare it to the original 1957 version, one of my favourite films. They added a daughter but left out how he becomes a big media sensation and where he almost finds love with a little person. Also, he doesn't seem to be as depressed as Scott Carey was in the original. In the basement section, more activities are added (wine, the fish). I like how a timeline was included (May, April, etc.). The leaking hot water boiler is a red herring, and the narration isn't as good. 4/5 Stars. I am glad they never made the proposed comedic version starring Will Smith- that would have been a disaster of gigantic proportions. See more Read all reviews
