Jones injects a fair amount of humor into the proceedings, but it's not always clear what's intentional and what's not, making for an occasionally confounding slasher film. Go to Full Review

Jason H @RT50328122 Sep 4, 2026 The third act is decent; the rest is kinda tedious. It's short, at least. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Jan 4, 2026 The Slumber Party Massacre is clearly better than its sequel, but it still falls short of the classic ’80s horror experience it aims for. Watching the films out of order actually highlights this: the first is more grounded and coherent, yet it lacks the immersive energy found in other slashers of the era. See more Gabriel T @GabrielFagundes Nov 5, 2025 It's more about exploitation and sexy girls than good killing or at-the-tip-of-the-seat moments. Actually, the killings were terrible, and it's a big problem for a slasher. The actor who plays the murderer was a ridiculously bad actor See more Read all reviews
