Movie Info

Taylor Wong Tai-loi spins this period fantasy yarn boasting a troubled production history and an equally troubled story line. Andy Lau Tak-wah stars as legendary swordsman Siu Sam-siu, who is set to duel rival Ming Jian (Brigitte Lin Ching-hsia) in a battle to decide once and for all who is the finest warrior in the land. Yet when Siu is framed for murder and pursued by overzealous cop Wham Dao (Elvis Tsui Kam-kong), the duel is scotched for the time being and the Ming clan comes to Siu's aid. Unfortunately, someone in Ming's family rats Siu out, setting the stage for a fight to the death between the two great swordsmen.

Audience Reviews for The Three Swordsmen

Andy Lau and Brigitte Lin (playing a man) give this otherwise mediocre film a lift.
