Movie Info

This epic silent movie follows the trials and tribulations of the countless people who risked everything to join in the Klondike gold rush of the late 1890s. Coming from all over the country, the fortune seekers, including the beautiful Berna (Dolores del Río) and her suitor, Larry (Ralph Forbes), gather in San Francisco and board a ship for Alaska, unaware of the many hardships that they will face out in the unforgiving wilderness, such as blizzards, floods and fires.
