Mr. and Mrs. Twit are the meanest, smelliest, nastiest people in the world who also happen to own and operate the most disgusting, most dangerous, most idiotic amusement park in the world, Twitlandia. But when the Twits rise to power in their town, two brave orphans and a family of magical animals are forced to become as tricky as the Twits in order to save the city. A hysterically funny, wild ride of a film (chock-full of the Twits' beloved tricks--from the Wormy Spaghetti to the Dreaded Shrinks), The Twits is also a story for our times, about the never-ending battle between cruelty and empathy.

Some of it feels a bit underdeveloped, but the suggestion that we could all be living in Twitlandia if we don’t find deeper wells of empathy on all sides feels like a valuable one. Go to Full Review

The Twits is exactly what one might imagine a Netflix Dahl adaptation to be: Diluted, simplistic animation, as cloying and feckless and smoothed over as anything from the last decade of Illumination films. Go to Full Review

Any of Dahl’s gruesome sense of fun is obliterated by a bulldozing message of empathy and kindness... This is vile and revolting in all the wrong ways. Go to Full Review

This is a mess, and even getting the dreaded shrinks cannot save us from its mediocrity. Go to Full Review

The CG picture-book aesthetic varies in quality, but the voice cast is largely excellent, with Martindale and Vegas especially enthusiastic as the crazed, slapstick villains. Go to Full Review

The tone never quite settles, and there's a sense of missed opportunity here in making something so specific just a bit too universal. Go to Full Review

Flynn S @Flynn194 5d 0.1/10 or is that generous? i’m not really sure. I have rated over 350+ films and though that doesn’t sound like loads I have a deep love for film and I’m certain what a good film is and what people and I enjoy. obviously, everyone has their own opinions, but this film was strange for me. This movie makes film look like the most disgusting revolting mindnumbing crap. Obviously it’s different to loads of other films but I just feel personally that this is the type of film that if I watched it before any incredible ones I’d be too worried or sick to even try those incredible ones. In conclusion I can see how very young children might find this film funny or the songs a bit exciting, but if you’re someone who wants a fun evening with something to put on, please don’t do this and if you do, tip the popcorn out your bowl, cause you might need it for your sick. This message might not make loads of sense, cause I’m sort of just pouring out my feeling, but I hope you get my point. See more Paris F @luv4paris333 Jul 28 This movie was just gross. It shouldn’t have been made for kids or just at all. It had an absolutely horrible storyline that made no sense and it was inappropriate in many ways. I don’t know if there is anything good about this movie I’m trying to think of something good about it, but there really wasn’t. Probably the worst movie on Netflix. See more Justin S @RT69690346 Jul 17 My brother (40) came over to watch with me (38) and my sons (6 and 3yrs old). We all loved it. Belly laughs throughout. My brother and I both have backgrounds in art, and found the animation to be stylistically unique, refreshing and fun. NO clue what some of these other reviewers are talking about. Talk about taking life too seriously. A wonderful watch with a sweet message. See more diogo13 T @Tua_mera Jul 17 O nome já diz oque é o filme. O mais idiota é 100 pessoas levaram um prédio de pedra nas costas.
