Jack Nicholson as the alpha male dog of a group of angsty young coastal adults. They livin' the good life, not a care in the world, driving cars fast, speaking their own language, drinking to excess, and sexually promiscuous, to such as these breaking the law is nearly as important as ignoring it altogether. Can these kids be brought to see reason!?!? BTW, the revolution hinted at in films like these didn't come. Just sayin'.
Nicholson gives a good early performance, which is the only reason to watch this movie, really. The film is horribly re-edited on DVD today, which makes it worse. I wouldn't recommend this movie.
The best thing about this silly low-budget tale is that it stars Jack Nicholson giving a performance that would be seen greatly improved later on in his career with his Oscar winning role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
