Movie Info

The final of six Jack Perrin Westerns produced by poverty row company Reliable Pictures, this film featured Perrin as an orphan raised by both an Indian, Red Wolf (Earl Dwire), and the local Indian agent, Clark (Lafe McKee). The grown up Jack searches for a bandit, Al (George Chesebro), who has stolen furs from the Indians. Quickly realizing that Al is in the employ of unscrupulous hotel owner Butch Weldon (William Gould), Jack begins to collect evidence against the villain. Al is caught red-handed with furs belonging to the Indians and is arrested. Both Jack and the repentant Al are ambushed by Butch, who kills his henchman in a way that make it looks like Jack is the culprit. Everything gets straightened out in the end, however, and peace is soon restored to the territory. A popular silent screen cowboy, Perrin saw his career wane in direct proportion to an ever expanding waistline. Following the Reliable series, Perrin signed with producer William A. Berke for an additional four starring Westerns in 1936. After that, he spent the remainder of his career in supporting roles.
