They Will Kill You isn’t without its issues, but it still manages to slay the majority of them with a crooked smile, a windmill kick to the head, and a swift meat cleaver thrust to the side of the neck.

“They Will Kill You” feels like helping my two-year-old niece put together a fairly simple, 12-piece puzzle, and watching her exclaim with delight before asking if we can assemble it again. Sooner or later, the final picture is going to lose its novelty.

Good action flick with some fun gore and mindless violence. I found the themes of abandonment, reconnection, and family loyalty very relatable. Dialogue was a bit cheesy in parts, but the film played like a n updated nod to 70s Blaxploitation flicks. Also, good to see Tom Felton playing a villain again. The Satanic Panic aspect is a dead horse though that gimmick beat those dead horses into glue 40 years ago.
