Has only about three ghosts worth of scares.

The experience of watching the film is literally painful. It hurts the eyes and ears.

Like most horror movies that try to cash in on the mood of the Halloween season, this one has more corn than scares.

The original had a dumb script, but it was unpretentious enough that it was more fun to watch than this mess of a movie.

Brutally violent horror remake is a huge waste.

The original was pretty crappy. The remake is not an improvement.

All in all, the technical credits outshine the characters, which is never a good idea.

It's yet another example of epileptic editing and gratuitous gore being mistaken for terror and tension.

There isn't enough dry ice in the world to conceal the rot of stupidity hovering over "13 Ghosts." With Embeth Davidtz and Matthew Lillard both overacting to a lower power in supporting roles, there apparently also aren't enough acting coaches.

A genuinely spectacular waste of money...Thirteen Ghosts has nothing going for it beyond its wildly excessive production design.

The best gimmick these folks could offer would be a ticket to a better fright movie like "The Others."

I kept wishing I were at home, all snuggly in my jammies, watching Castle's much more fun original.

At least his (Castle's) old films could be viewed as pure, innocent camp. Thir13en Ghosts can hardly be viewed at all.

É impressionante que 13 Fantasmas tenha sido montado por três editores, já que a trama (na falta de um termo melhor) flui de maneira absolutamente caótica.
