Movie Info

Eric Tsang Chi-wai directs this heartwarming yarn loosely based on Demi Moore vehicle Now and Then about a quartet of old friends -- Minnie (Loletta Lee Lai-chun), Patricia (Karen Mok Man-wai), Bamboo (Linda Wong Hing-ping), and Informant -- who come together for Minnie's impending nuptials and reminisce about their teenage years in the midst of the mid-'80s. The film particularly focuses on Minnie's past, including her ambiguous relationship with the neighbor tomboy, her crush on her hunky homeroom teacher, her jarring pubescence, and her first love. This film was one of four films with the same title that came out in Hong Kong within a two-year period.
