Nothing in Thrash is going to wow Steven Spielberg, and its adherence to plot logic is elastic to say the least. But as bloody, dumb shark thrillers go, it stays afloat. Go to Full Review
Owen Gleiberman Variety 3d
This is a Netflix and Chomp movie, just 80 minutes long (if you don’t count the closing credits), and the compact run time does more than keep “Thrash” from wearing out its welcome. Go to Full Review

As a basic disaster flick? “Thrash” works, and offers up less than 90 minutes of admirably silly and occasionally chilling action, even if it could stand to take a bigger bite out of the story. Go to Full Review

This movie shouldn’t really work, and in a lot of ways, it doesn’t. However, I had a decent amount of fun watching what doubles as a disaster movie and a shark-attack flick. Go to Full Review

In a streaming landscape increasingly cluttered with content that wants desperately to be taken seriously, there’s something almost refreshing about a movie that has absolutely no such ambitions. It’s trash. It knows it’s trash. It showed up anyway. Go to Full Review

Thrash does have atmosphere, no doubt. The towering walls of water are more unnerving than the sharks themselves. But the tension quickly turns soggy, because the film never quite decides what it wants to be and eventually, neither does the viewer. Go to Full Review

writing A @RT32080514 1h This whole movie felt like I am watching something made by an AI. The effects weren't it. The acting fell flat at times. There wasn't much suspense for most of the movie. Everyone died in the beginning and then after that everything began happening too fast. There could've been so many interesting moments if they weren't so rushed or completely skipped over. Anyways, I liked some parts, but this movie could've used better editing and longer length. It wasn't a complete disaster, but it definitely didn't live up to my expectations or the potential it had. See more Paul L. @pauly87 1h I actually quite enjoyed this movie lots of action blood and one of those movies that don't make you think too much See more thomas R @RT71519919 4h Don’t waste your time. Starting from the propaganda in the first 15 seconds to the…..actually that’s all I needed to see to know it was going to be a frustrating waste of time. After reading the other reviews, I’m so glad I watched something else. Who in their right mind would put this in the top ten?? See more Dan R @RT87479526 13h Most probably the worst movie I've ever watched. I didn't even finished it. How can that be on the top 10 on Netflix? Mamma mia... See more Kai K @RT86822246 14h No plot, no build up, no anything meaningful. Just sharks, deaths, and hurricane called henry. The movie should add comedy on their genre cz i found it incredibly funny at some part See more Chelsea H. @ChelsDez 14h Can’t even lie…This movie could have been called TRASH instead of “Thrash” so we knew what we’re about to walk into 🙄 I gave it 1.5 stars and the extra half star is ONLY because I somehow sat and watched the whole thing. Still trying to figure out why because it WAS genuinely bad 😂 but not bad enough for me to turn it off? Lol you get the gist. The plot wasn’t plotting AT ALL and the scenes were all over the damn place like they threw them together last minute and thought we wouldn’t notice. Nothing really flowed and I remember saying out loud more than once “what is even happening right now?” 🫠🥱 Honestly, it gave low budget Tubi movie even on a Netflix budget 😩 make it make sense! lol At the end of the day though, as corny as this movie is you probably won’t be able to stop looking at it. Kinda like a train wreck which is exactly how I’d describe it See more Read all reviews
