Moronic rubbish. Makes men look like idiots.

a good comedy and a sweet drama combined
love the talents of Steve Gutenberg, Tom Selleck, and Ted Danson
3 roommates have it all it seems until Jack leaves the country for an acting gig and Peter and Michael are left with an unknown package at their front door
this package is in the form of small baby girl named Mary whom was left by her mother plus there's a drug smuggling deal in the midst of it all
of course we know how it plays from here; the men take care of the baby as best they can going through all the major ups and downs yet over time they become quite attached to her and it's almost impossible to pull away
guys like them don't care of kids but maybe this little infant is just what they need to enlighten their lives
Jack also learns not to run away from responsibility this time as he's done his whole life, and Peter and Michael are there to help
the heart of the picture is very soothing even if it sneaks in now and then
when the mother finally shows up the film does reach that pinnacle to whether it's all been worth it
these three men are so good at caring for this baby they didn't even know it
for the late Leonard Nimoy he certainly knows his way around the family vibe plus the feel-good nature of it all

This is one of those movies from the 80's that makes me laugh, even if it is a bit ridiculous. Leonard Nimoy's direction kept the movie flowing, but the story itself was a bit of a stretch from time to time. Overall, I think that it is worth seeing at least once.

Coasts on the charisma of its three stars.

Mr. Spock becomes Dr. Spock with surprisingly charming, albeit corny, results.

Pretty funny movie from that period. The legendary ghost child and Tom Selleck's moustache steal the show.

Some amusing moments if you've raised a child and understand learning as you go. However, the heroin sub-plot was unnecessary. Couldn't help but wander why these middle-aged men with careers were roommates.

It's good movie to watch

Love the idea of the story but some parts are too hectic. Completely love the part where they sing to the baby.

Who can resist the charm of 3 bachelors trying to keep a baby alive. It was some fun moments and some sentimental ones. It's weathered well after 3 decades now. Based off of a French film released 2 years earlier. Rating: 8 / 10

Cate has already casted the remake: Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, and a yet to be named African American actor.

Not bad, quite funny!

This oldie (directed by Leonard Nimoy) still makes me laugh to this day. Surprisingly this was the top grossing movie of 1987! Good for a few laughs.

I love this 80s movie!

Three eligible NY bachelors have their world turned upside down when a baby is dropped at their doorstep. Features three big stars, one predictable premise and a very tidy happy finish. Subplot involving drug dealers and a quarter million dollars of heroin seems out of place and forced. Also strange is three apparently self-sufficient middle aged men living together like college students.

Amazing how 3 men can take care of a baby girl!

The script is generic but the charm and the 3 lead breath life into it.
