good to see vijay in a film that tries not be dumb and without his punch dialogues.
The acting here is adequate but the one thing that needs most appreciation is characters talk to hindi people in HINDI!!!! Murugadas has tried doing something different and so should be appreciated though he doesnt succeed completely like in the climax which falls flat . Overall good and surely worth a wach

Very good attempt, good screenplay but the second half of movie lost it's grip with poor climax though it's entertaining we can accept the fact that it was dedicated to Indian Army, wait poor music both bgm and songs. Some of scenes taken from hollywood for example the interval block was given TAKEN style but some scenes before interval was very good and that makes this movie as B.O hit

Thuppakki is the most entertaining action packed Tamil thriller of this decade. Three thing A R Murugadoss could have avoid,1. Climax fighting - that pulls back us to the typical Tamil movie climax. could have make it better.2. Sathyan - don't know why Sathyan for this movie? in earth where a police SI allowed to enter/operate the main control room or allowed to access all the equipment. 3. too many songs.

It's out and out a Vijay show with lots of engaging moments... I have one big question for murugadoss..what makes u insert maximum songs even between grippy sequences,Pity the cliches which even eminent makers would fail to unrely on...the film could've been in a rocket pace if they are trimmed ... Vijay was sincere to the core the way he presented the role, which I feel is way matured than any of his recent...
Cinematography was too average and thereby hardly one could assume that it's by SANTHOSH SIVAN...I didn't feel that it had sequences which projects/ uplifts Indian army much but can be applauded for its entertainment value and script

decent film. vijay returns to form after some terrible films...the romantic angle is odd and seems forced. hardly any funny moments in the film.

Asusual commercial movie. Vijay less punch dialogues took movie to hit. I cant believe that harris can do this much worst songs in movie. Army concept is must appreciated. Vijay forming 12members to attack terrorist scene was impressed me lot. Allover movie is watchable
