Perhaps the only Albert Pyun movie I love. Dennis Hopper reprises his character from "Speed" to fight Tom Sizemore and Steven Seagal. Yeah, it is that awesome.

So I was excited to see this. Not because I was under the impression that it would be some masterpiece, but rather Hopper, Sizemore, and Seagal are awesome so it should be at least okay right? Unfortunately it was a a movie about Sizemore and Hopper, but because Seagal was in it they had to throw him in, in parts that didn't make sense and then come go time they decide to actually use Seagal and he kills a few people. This movie had a decent story, sort of it was just executed poorly. Hell a movie where Seagal wasn't in it, or it was just Seagal as a protagonist it would have been entertaining.

Synopsis: Dennis Hopper is Alex Swan, an Irish Terrorist Bomb Maker in San Francisco. He blows stuff up, cops come after, capture his girlfriend, Jaime Pressly, so he threatens to blow everything up unless they release her. PROS Jaime Pressly Lots of Explosions Get To Watch NAS die. The Cast CONS Cliche Hopper's "Irish" Accent The Cast Poor Direction Final Analysis: When you look at the cast, Dennis Hopper, Tom Sizemore, Jaime Pressly, Steven Seagal, Nas, Chilli, Ice T, Peter Green, you may ask yourself why did this go direct to DVD. When you watch the movie you know why, that and you realize, hey these are all B-List actors! Jaime Pressly, shows the only real acting chops here, out acting Tom Sizemore and Dennis Hopper. I think they were mailing it in but that's on the director, Albert Pyun. Steven Seagal has some of the most awful lines of his career and the whole movie is pretty bad. I can't bring myself to recommend this movie, but this is an good bad movie to me. On The Seagal Curve (Explained in detail in my blog) this is a 50%. DON'T BOTHER.
