Movie Info

The viewer assumes the role of detective in Catalan director Jaime Rosales' intense, avant-garde thriller following a middle-aged Spanish man as he goes about his daily business, and ending with a startling shock to the system. Everything is viewed from a distance as a typical man purchases a newspaper, dines with a friend at a local café, attends a dinner party, makes love to a woman, visits a CD shop, and stops on the street to make a telephone call. But who is this man, and why are we following his ever move? Are he and his associates plotting something truly diabolical? As the questions begin to multiply, the mystery only deepens.
