Audience Reviews for To Write Love on Her Arms (Renee)
I didn't even know this movie existed until I found it as a rental, but I'm really glad I stumbled on it. TWLOHA is a fantastic movement and this film does a great job of telling its story. I can't think of a better actress than Kat Dennings for the role of Renee Yohe, and overall I think the film does exactly what it set out to do.
This was a tragic story based on an addict's fight for rehabilitation. The cast was amazing and it had a very hopeful ending.
This movie does a solid job portraying a young woman dealing with both mental disorders and drug addiction. Its only hard to watch because I've seen loved ones deal with these issues completely alone not because of our lack of trying though but because of their utter disregard for our help.. I just wish they would have had the same belief in our support and the opportunities as portrayed in this movie, for most these situations are unrealistic. The words 'burning bridges' come to mind and the fact that people really are unforgiving. Not many people believe in second chances, forget about third fourth or fifths. I pray for all who need help, just hold on, you do matter.
