Fairly average WW2 movie. Doesn't do justice to Stephen Crane's "Red Badge of Courage", on which it is based, apparently (though you wouldn't know it unless it was in the credits).

Decent performances though.

This started out interesting but then it got very very boring. Off-beat, slow and filled with lame actors this is the one for those, who like to sleep while watching a movie..

A Czech remake of Red Badge of Courage set in North Africa in WW2. One of the better films to have been set in that campaign, it comes at it from a fresh angle with a plot that has been tried and tested elsewhere. Good acting and locations add to the effect. Probably of most interest to those who are already fans of war films.

This is not war movie. It's more DRAMA than anything else. I was expecting something completely different.

Still ... could be worse.
